Adding the withdrawal button to a Journal theme

Journal 3 manages modules and layouts through its own Layout Builder rather than OpenCart's standard Design > Layout screen. Here's where the withdrawal button module fits in.

Verified, screenshots pending. These steps were walked through live on a real Journal 3.2.9 install (Account layout, Column Right) and confirmed working end to end, including seeing the button render on the storefront. The image placeholders below just need the actual screenshots dropped in.

1. Open the layout you want to edit

In the admin menu, go to Journal > Layouts (this is Journal's own page/layout editor, separate from OpenCart's Design > Layouts). Pick the layout you want the button on, for example Account for the customer account area, and click its edit (pencil) icon to open the visual builder.

2. Add a new row and pick the module

In the builder, pick the column you want (for example Column Right, where the Account Menu already lives) and click its + to add a new row. Click into that row's "Add module…" field to open the My Modules picker, scroll the category list on the left all the way down to Opencart, and select it. Scroll the resulting module list down to find Ninawebs EU Withdrawal — Button - Withdrawal Button and click it to add it to the row.

3. Save and check the storefront

Click Save in the top right of the builder. The button's own look (style, size, colours, corner rounding) is configured separately from its module settings page under Extensions > Extensions > Modules, the same as on any other OpenCart theme. Once saved, the button shows up immediately wherever that layout is used, no extra cache clearing needed for the layout change itself.

Already using the account menu integration?

Separately from this layout-builder placement, the optional Journal 3 compatibility add-on patches Journal's account page template so the "Cancellations and withdrawal requests" account link can appear automatically with the source-verified Journal 3.1.14, 3.1.15, 3.2.8, and 3.2.10 account-page patterns. If you've customised your Journal account menu manually, you may need to add that link yourself; see the main documentation for the account page details. Want the button or a plain link in the site footer instead? See the Footer Builder placement guide.
